Grand Mercure Roxy Hotel Singapore is actively involved in taking care of the environment as much as we can and where possible, as part of our social responsibility towards the community, locally and globally. We care about the future of our natural habitat and the society we live in. We realize that every action we take has its consequences, bad or good. Our goal is to build awareness and encourage the community around us, starting with our team of employees, to maintain the environment which includes natural resources and human resources, and create positive impact to the nature and the people of the community.
Early Lunar New Year Reunion Dinner For 230 Beneficiaries from TOUCH Community Service
Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore, together with Roxy Pacific Holdings will play host to 230 beneficiaries comprising of elderly seniors from TOUCH Senior Activity Centre, low income families and single parent families and children from TOUCH Family Centres to an early Lunar New Year Reunion dinner. Mr Seah Kian Peng, Member of Parliament for Marine Parade GRC will be the Guest-of-Honour at the event.
TOUCH a Child’s life this Christmas
From 2nd December 2011 to 1st January 2012, Grand Mercure Roxy Singapore team has decorated the Christmas Tree in the hotel lobby with Christmas Make a Wish Tags for the children of TOUCH. Tags were made available at the Concierge Desk with a donation of $2 per tag. Further contributions in the charity box were very welcomed.
We appreciate everyone’s generosity and we have collected a total of S$1005.50 from the christmas tag sales at our Concierge. Hand in hand, let’s give the children a season to be jolly again next Christmas!
EMBRACING SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY AS A CULTURE

Roxy Pacific Holdings Limited committed to a dollar-for-dollar donation, above their car wash efforts (conducted by hotel staff and management team of GMRH and Roxy Pacific Holdings). The car wash collected approximately $23,000 (including Roxy Pacific Holdings’ donation) for the needy families of Marine Parade CCC.
